23.01.12 One of Causeway's stalwarts and most popular characters is Eric Weston. He played over 200 games for the club, scoring over 50 goals and in his heyday played for Bromsgrove Rovers under Bobby Hope.
It has now come to our notice that Eric's daughter, Hippy-Joe Weston, is doing exceptionaly well in the dancing world and has got through to the semi final of Sky's "Got To Dance" which will be broadcast live on Sky on Sunday 19th February 2012. 18.01.12 The fixture on Tuesday 24th January, Stratford Town, has been postponed because Stourbridge have a rearranged home game. New date to be arranged.

30.11.11 Unfortunately we have lost our fixture on the 6th December because Stourbridge have been told they have to play a home game. The Stratford game will now be rearranged in the new year.

New date for the Heather St Johns game is Tuesday 13th December.
The away fixture at Boldmere on Monday 2nd January 2012 will be a 7.30 pm kick off.

18.11.11 The fixture scheduled for 26th November has been postponed because of Stourbridge being at home in the F A Trophy. A new date will be arranged as soon as posible.

18.10.11 Fixture Change. October 29th 2011. Stourbridge have been drawn at home in the F A Cup so our fixture on that date has been switched, we are now playing Stratford Town Away. The home fixture will be rearranged later.

28.09.11 In last nights Birmingham Senior Cup game Causeway were beaten 4 - 0 by Solihull Moors. An excellent sporting game was marred by an accident to the Moors player Alex Price. All of the Committee and players from Causeway wish Alex a speedy and full recovery.

01.09.11 Congratulations to Causeway Skipper Chris Field who started his 200th game for the club on Monday against Westfields. Chris played his first game at the start of the 2007/8 and has missed few games since then. His all action play and enthusiasm has made Manager Carl Burley call him Mr  Causeway United.

14.08.11 The draw for the Birmingham Senior County Cup has given Causeway an away game at Solihull Moors. Date to be arranged. DATE NOW FIXED FOR 27th SEPTEMBER

18.07.11 The MFA unfortunately today received the resignation of Friar Lane & Epworth which means the season will now start with 22 teams in the league.

19.06.11 At last nights League Presentation, Causeway were awarded with the Hospitality award for the fourth year running. (A close run thing with Stratford Town finishing second.) Again, apt reward for all the hard work of Pearl Russell, Sally Powell, Lesley & David Thompson and Joy Crumpton.

14.06.11    STOURBRIDGE F C --  SPECIAL OFFER
Following discussions with officials at Stourbridge F C an agreement has been reached to allow Stourbridge F C season ticket holders and members a reduced admission charge to Causeway United's home Midland Football Alliance fixtures in 2011/12 of £2.50 on production of their card/ticket.


25.05.11 Causeway are pleased to welcome new coach Richard Colwell to the club. He was manager of Stourport Swifts last season but left a couple of games before the end of the season. He was there for 5 seasons where he was a player, player / coach, assistant manager before taking over as manager last pre season.

02.05.11 Season 2010 - 11 finishes with a two nil victory over Loughborough University leaving Causeway in a final league position of 10th. A successful season, not our highest league position, but more points than any previous season and a higher number of goals scored than any previous season. Congratulations to all players and management for making it a good season.

10.09.10 The Causeway committee has been swelled in the last few weeks by the arrival of Matt Richards and Mark McIntyre. Matt, a former Causeway player, has a vast knowledge of the MFA scene and his business acumen should be a great asset to the club. Mark joins us, having left Bridgnorth, with again MFA experience and he is also a member of the MFA league committee.
